Ingredients
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 1 tbs butter or margarine
- 1/2 cup chopped toasted almonds
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 1/2 cup light cream
- 1 tsp vanilla

Preparation
Step 1
Spread bottom and sides of a 9x5x3 inch loaf pan with butter or margarine. In a 2 quart saucepan combine granulated sugar,brown sugar, corn syrup, light cream and the 4 tbs butter or margarine. Cook and stir over medium heat till sugars dissolve. Continue cooking, stirring occasionally, to firm ball stage. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla and almonds. Turn into prepared dish. Cool and cut into squares.
