Ingredients
- 2 x Meat sauce (spaghetti) recipe
- 1 12-oz container medium pasta (skinny lasagna noodles or dumplings)
- 2 lb container of ricotta cheese
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 c. parsley (optional but recommended)
- 2 c. mozzarella (more?)
- Grated Parmesan cheese

Step 1
Cook meat sauce and set aside.
Cook pasta according to box directions minus one minute.
Heat oven to 375.
Combine ricotta, egg, parsley, pepper, and salt. Layer the ingredients in a 13x9x2 baking dish:
1/3 meat sauce
1/2 hot pasta
1/2 ricotta mixture
1 c mozzarella
1/3 meat sauce
rest of pasta
rest of ricotta
1/3 meat sauce
rest of mozzarella
sprinkle with Parmesan cheese
Cover with aluminum foil. Bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake 5 more minutes until bubbly.
