Cream Cheese Crockpot Chicken

Ingredients

• 1 can chicken broth
• 4 lbs chicken pieces
• 1 package dry Italian salad dressing mix
• 1 Tablespoon butter
• 1 onion chopped
• 1 8oz cream cheese
• 1 can cream of chicken soup
• 2 teaspoon minced garlic
• salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Pour broth in crockpot
arrange chicken in crockpot
sprinkle with dry Italian seasoning
cover and cook on low for 6 to 7 hours
About 45 minutes minutes before serving ,
heat in a sauce pan butter and onions until soft
add cream cheese, cream of chicken soup and minced garlic
cook over medium heat until blend and smooth
season with salt and pepper
Pour sauce mixture over chicken in crockpot and cook for an additional 30 to 45 minutes
carefully remove chicken from crockpot so that the cream cheese mixture is still in place on top
of chicken and arrange on a serving platter
serve with rice
