Ingredients
- 1-14 ounces caramels
- 2/3 cup evaporated milk divided
- 1-18.25 ounce caramel cake mix
- 3/4 cup butter melted
- 2 tsp vanilla
- 3/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1 1/2 cup nuts

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350*. Place caramels in saucepan. Add 1/3 cup milk, cook until melted, stir often, remove from heat. Combine remaining 1/3 cup milk, cake mix, butter, vanilla and cinnamon stir until blended, spread 1/2 dough into lightly greased 9 inch square pan. Chill remaining dough. Bake 350 for 10 minutes, cool in pan 5 minutes. Pour caramel mixture over cake, sprinkle with nuts , spoon rest of dough into 9 equal portions on wax paper. Pat into circles, placing over mixture overlapping slightly. Bake at 350* for 25 minutes, cover and chill before cutting.
