Ingredients

  • 12 Med Shrimp
  • 1 tbsp creole seasoning
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion and celery
  • 2 tbsp garlic
  • 3 bay leaves
  • 1/2 cup chopped tomatoes
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp hot sauce
  • 3/4 cup rice
  • 3 cups chicken stock
  • 5 oz. Andouille sausage sliced.

Step 1

Work creole seasoning into shrimp.

In large saucepan hear oil over high heat. Add onion, pepper and celery. Add garlic, tomatoes, bay leaves, Worcestershire sauce and hot sauce. Stir in rice and slowly add broth. Reduce heat to medium and cook until rice absorbs liquids and becomes tender, stirring occasionally. (about 15 minutes)

When rice is tender add shrimp and sausage. Cook until shrimp is done. (about 10 minutes) season with salt and pepper to taste.
