Ingredients
- aluminum foil
- 1 ( 3 1/2 lb) chicken
- olive oil
- 2 t coarse salt
- 1 t fresh ground black pepper
- fresh rosemary, thyme & marjoram, fine chop
- 1 (12 oz) can beer (any brand)

Preparation
Step 1
Prepare grill.
Pat chicken dry. Rub skin with olive oil. Sprinkle salt, pepper and herbs inside and out.
Open can of beer; pour out 1 oz. add more fresh herbs to beer. Slide chicken over can. Stand can on a small baking sheet. Place baking sheet on grill rack. Close grill and cook until juices run clear and chicken is done, about 1 hr. The internal temp should be about 165F
