That Good Salad

This recipe was given to me by a friend, Leah Miller.
She served it at her son's graduation party. She told me she got it from lady named Carman Hoffpauir, when they lived in Louisiana. Very good indeed!.

Ingredients
- 3/4 C vegetable oil
- 1/4 C fresh lemon juice
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 t. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 2 bunches (1 lb. each) romain, torn.
- 2 C grape tomatoes
- 1 C (4 oz.) shredded Swiss Cheese
- 2/3 C slivered almonds, toasted
- 1/2 C grated Parmesan Cheese
- 8 bacon strips cooked and crumbled
- 1 C ceasar salad croutons

Step 1
In a jar with a tight-fitting lid, combine oil, lemon juice, garlic, salt and pepper. Cover and shake well. Chill.
In a bowl, toss romain, tomatoes, swiss cheese, almonds, parmesan cheese, and bacon.
Shake dressing; pour over salad and toss.
Add croutons and serve immediately.
