Ingredients

  • Steak
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 cup dry red wine
  • 2 TBSP sugar (brown or white)
  • 1/2 tsp rosemary

Preparation

Step 1

Let steak rest on counter to room temperature.

Mix vinegar, wine, sugar and rosemary in sauce pan. Boil and reduce to a thick syrup, about 75%. Stir constantly and don"t leave it or it will burn.

Pepper the steaks and grill. Brush with some glaze as it cooks, then more after they are done.

Great served with potato salad and steamed asparagus.
