Ingredients

  • 150 g butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 8.5 oz. white chocolate
  • 3 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla
  • 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 10 fl. oz. hot milk
  • 10 Oreo cookies, crushed (kitchen shears do a wonderful job too!). More for sprinkling.

Preparation

Step 1

Heat the oven to 180C and line cupcake tin with papers or grease the tin.
Melt the chocolate in a bowl. Set aside.
Beat together the butter and sugar.
Add in one egg at a time and continue to beat until very light.
Add the vanilla and the chocolate.
Sift together the flour and baking soda.
Add the flour to the batter, alternating with the milk.
Stir in crushed Oreo cookies.
Sprinkle some bits on the top.
Fill up the muffin tin and bake for 20 minutes or until wooden skewer comes out clean.
