Ingredients
- 3 qts broth
- 3 lbs chicken, beef, fish, or sausage
- 1/2 cup Community Kitchens roux
- 1 pkg Community Kitchens Gumbo Seasoning File

Preparation
Step 1
Bring broth to a boil and slowly stir in roux a little at a time.
When desire thickness has been achieved (adjust amount of roux) stir in gumbo seasoning into boiling liquid.
Add chicken, meat and sausage.
Turn heat to lw and cover with lid.
Continue to cook for 45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add seafood after the roux season broth simmered for 25 minutes.
File is added prior to serving.
Use any combo of meats. We recommend chicken and hot sausage with chicken broth or seafood and adouille with seafood or chicken broth.
