Ingredients

1/2 C. shortening
1 1/2 C. sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 C. flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 400F. Mix shortening, sugar and eggs thoroughly. Blend flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt. Shape in 1 inch balls, rollin mixture of sugar and cinnamon. Place on un-greased baking sheets and bake for 8-10 minutes.
