Ingredients

  • steamed green beans
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 10 anchovy fillets, minced
  • 2 teaspoons crushed red pepper flakes

Preparation

Step 1

1. Mash together garlic into a paste. Saute in oil until sizzling, then take off heat. Add anchovies and pepper, then toss with beans.

2. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes: These were delicious! I wasn't sure how much of the green beans to use as there wasn't a specified amount in the recipe, but used about a pound. It seemed like that might be too much garlic and red pepper so I cut down on those, but wish I hadn't. Really very good.
