  • 1/2 lb. margarine at room temperature
  • 8 tbsp. sugar
  • 3 1/4 cups sifted flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 3 tbsp. orange juice
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • Filling
  • 1 jar levkar prune filling
  • chopped nuts
  • sugar and cinnamon

Cream the margarine and sugar. Sift the dry ingredients and add to margarine and sugar mixture. Mix well. And the egg, orange juice, and vanilla and knead until a dough is formed. Refrigerate or freeze if desired.
Roll out dough which has been divided into six sections. Use a floured board. Use a glass to shape circles. Put a teaspoon or less of mixed filling into each circle and shape into triangles by pinching the edges together. Bake in a 325 degree oven for 25 minutes or until baked. Do not brown- color should be yellowi
