Cookies and Cream Dessert

Ingredients

• 1 lb. 2 oz. pkg.chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed
• 1/2 cup butter, melted
• 8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened
• 2 (3.4 oz.) pkg. vanilla instant pudding mix
• 3 cups milk
• 8 oz. whipped cream, thawed

Preparation

Step 1

Mix cookie crumbs with butter. Reserve 1 cup of mixture. Press remaining mixture int he bottom of a 13" x 9" dish. Set aside. Beat cream cheese at medium speed with an electric mixture. Add pudding mix and milk. Beat until smooth. Fold in whipped topping. Spread over cookie mixture and sprinkle with reserved cookie mixture. Chill 1 hour.
