Cake Mix Fudgey Bars

This is another one of these life saving recipes you can whip up when life is over the top crazy and the last thing you need is to add "Martha Stewart Wannabe" to your list of things to impress other people with. (Isn't our list already long enough?) When you pop these fudgey bars out of the oven, you'll be thinking: Life is good......Now, where did my wine glass go?

Ingredients

• 1 Box Yellow Cake Mix (I prefer Duncan Hines)
• 2 Eggs
• 1/3 Cup Oil
• 1 (14 Ounce) can Sweetened Condensed Milk
• 1 Cup Semi Sweet Chocolate Chips
• 1/4 Cup Butter

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine cake mix, eggs and oil. Press 2/3 of the mix into a greased 9x13 pan. Set aside. Place butter, milk and chocolate chips in microwave safe bowl. Microwave until melted & smooth. Approx. 2 1/2 minutes, stirring after each minute. Pour over cake mixture. Drop by tablespoons the remaining 1/3 cake mixture on top of chocolate layer. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until lightly browned.
