Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup nonfat yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon chutney
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
  • 3/4 cup nonfat buttermilk
  • 1 3/4 pounds trout fillets
  • 2 teaspoons vegetable oil

Preparation

Step 1

1. Mix yogurt and mango chutney.

2. Mix flour-turmeric.

3. Dip fish in buttermilk, then flour. Shake off excess.

4. Heat oil in skillet. Brown fish on both sides (~2-3 mins/side). Serve with yogurt.

Notes: Can also use flounder, sole, orange roughy, hake, pollock ..
