Ingredients
- In small bowl mix together:
- (greased & floured 9 x 13 Bake 350 - 40 min)
- Cream----1 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 1/2 cup shortening
- Add--- 1 egg
- Stir in-1 cup sour milk (add 1 1/3 tsp vinegar & stir)
- Add-1/4 tsp salt
- 2 cups flour
- 1 1/2 cups rhubarb cut up fine
- 1 tsp soda
- 1 tsp vanilla
- mix together and pour into pan.
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tbsp flour,
- 1 tbsp oleo
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 cup chopped nuts if desired.
- Sprinkle this over the top of the cake and bake 40 minutes at 350 degrees. Is even better the next day.
