Rhubarb Cake/ Ma

Ingredients

• In small bowl mix together:
• (greased & floured 9 x 13 Bake 350 - 40 min)
• Cream----1 1/2 cups brown sugar
• 1/2 cup shortening
• Add--- 1 egg
• Stir in-1 cup sour milk (add 1 1/3 tsp vinegar & stir)
• Add-1/4 tsp salt
• 2 cups flour
• 1 1/2 cups rhubarb cut up fine
• 1 tsp soda
• 1 tsp vanilla
• mix together and pour into pan.
• 1/4 cup sugar
• 1 tbsp flour,
• 1 tbsp oleo
• 1 tsp cinnamon
• 1 cup chopped nuts if desired.
• Sprinkle this over the top of the cake and bake 40 minutes at 350 degrees. Is even better the next day.
