Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1/3 cup butter, softened
  • 1 1/4 cup sugar, divided
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 2 1/4 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 Tbs cinnamon

Step 1

Blend cream cheese, butter and one cup sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in egg and vanilla. In a separate bowl, mix together flour and baking powder. Add flour mixture to cream cheese mixture; mixture will be soft. Cover; refrigerate for 30 minutes. Combine cinnamon and remaining sugar. Remove dough from refrigerator; immediately form into balls by rounded tablespoonfuls. Roll in cinnamon mixture. Place on baking sheets sprayed lightly with non stick vegetable spray. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes, or until edges are golden. Remove to a wire rack to cool.
