Firemen Cookies

Ingredients

• 2-1/4 cups brown sugar
• 1-1/8 tsp. salt
• 2-1/4 cups granulated sugar
• 4-1/2 cups oats
• 1 lb. butter, softened
• 1 large bag chocolate chips
• 4-1/2 cups flour
• 1 cup nuts
• 2-1/3 tsp. baking soda
• 5 eggs
• 1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
2. Cream eggs, sugar, butter and vanilla. Add dry ingredients except oats to creamed mixture and mix well.
3. Stir in oats, chocolate and nuts.
4. Use an ice cream scoop to place 4 scoops on each greased cookie sheet.
5. Bake until flattened and brown.
*Dough can be frozen for use at a later time.
