Ingredients
- Cake:
- 2 C. all-purpose flour
- 1 3/4 C. brown sugar, firmly packed
- 2 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 3/4 C. butter, softened
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 3 eggs
- 2 C. peeled, thinly sliced apples
- 1 C. chopped nuts
- 1/2 C. raisins
- Glaze:
- 1/4 C. butter
- 1/4 C. brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 1/2 C. powdered sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2-4 tsp. milk
- 3 T. chopped nuts

Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Generously grease and flour a 12 C. bundt pan.
2. In a large bowl blend all cake ingredients except nuts and raisins; beat 2 minutes at high speed.
3. Spoon into prepared pan. Bake 45-55 minutes until toothpick, inserted in center comes out clean.
4. Cool upright in pan for 30 minutes.
5. Invert onto serving plate and cool completely.
6. In small saucepan, melt butter. Stir in brown sugar, remove from heat. Add powdered sugar, vanilla and milk; blend well. Immediately spoon over cake and sprinkle with nuts.
