Ingredients
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 3/4 cup cooking oil
- 1/4 cup dark molasses
- 1 egg
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp ground cloves
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Granulated sugar

Preparation
Step 1
Combine brown sugar, oil, molasses and egg; beat well.
Sift together flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, cloves and salt. Gradually blend into molasses mixture/
Using about 1 tbs for each, form into 1 3/4" balls. Roll in granulated sugar; place 2" apart on greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 375 degrees for 10 to 12 minutes.
