Moms Favorite Coconut Cake

Ingredients

• BEAT:
• 4 large eggs
• 2 c.sugar
• 3/4 c Crisco
• 1 c milk
• 2 c flour
• 2 tsp baking powder
• 3/4 c coconut
• egg whites till fluffy, set aside:
• CREAM:
• 2 c sugar and the 3/4 c Crisco till fluffy
• ADD:
• 4 well beaten egg yolks
• ALTERNATELY ADD:
• 1 C milk with the 2 c flour and 2 tsp bk.pwd
• ADD:
• 3/4 c coconut
• FOLD IN:
• YOUR BEATEN EGG WHITES
