Ingredients
- Frosting:
- 5 5 5 eggs, separated
- 2 2 2 C. sugar
- 1/2 1/2 1/2 C. cricso
- 1 1 1 stick butter
- 2 2 4 C. flour, sifted (minus 4 tablespoons)
- 1 1 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 1 1 C. buttermilk
- 1 1 1 C. nuts
- 2 2 2 C. coconut
- 1 1 1 tsp. vanilla
- 8 8 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 1/4 1/4 C. butter, softened
- 1 1 1 box powdered sugar
- 1 1 1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation
Step 1
Beat yolks, add sugar, butter and crisco. Mix well. Add flour and baking soda. Then add buttermilk. In a separate bowl beat egg whites. Add remaining ingredients into other bowl. Fold in egg whites. Pour into 3 8-9 inch pans, lined with wax paper. Bake at 350F for 30-35 minutes. Cool on racks about 5 minutes. Remove and cool then frost.
Frosting:
Beat all ingredients together til smooth
