Ingredients
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups rolled oats
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 1/4 cups seedless raisins

Preparation
Step 1
1.Preheat the oven to 375°F.
2.In a large bowl, cream together the butter, sugars, eggs, and vanilla. Stir in the flour, salt, baking soda, and oats; mix well. Stir in the raisins.
3.Drop by tablespoonfuls onto lightly greased cookie sheets.
4.Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove to wire racks to cool
