Ingredients
- 2 C buttermilk
- 1 large onion cut in 1" pieces
- 2 C flour
- 2 tsp kosher salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp cayenne

Step 1
Combine dry ingredients.
Dip onion ring in buttermilk; dredge in flour mixture, dip in buttermilk again; and in flour again. Refridgerate for 15 minutes.
Heat 1" of oil to 365. Fry onion rings until light brown; season with salt.
