Ice Cream- Nebraska style!

Ingredients

• 4 eggs
• 5 cups milk
• 2 tbsp. vanilla
• 2 1/2 cups sugar
• 4 cups whipping cream
• 1/4 tsp salt
• 1/2 cup grapenuts

Preparation

Step 1

1. Beat eggs till foamy, gradually add sugar, beat until thickened.

2. Add cream, vanilla, salt... mix well... pour into ice cream maker

3. Add mil, stir, put lid on... set in wood part fill 1/2 cull with ice, sprinkle 1/2 cup sale around. Fill rest way up with ice.

4. Sprinkle 1/2 cup salt... then 3-4 cups water so ice doesn't freeze up.

15 mins or until motor starts to pull
