Ingredients

  • Filling:
  • 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
  • 1 cup (8 oz) sour cream
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 2 Tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • Glaze:
  • 1 cup confectioners sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons milk

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In a large bowl blend cake mix, sour cream, oil, 1/4 cup sugar, water and eggs. Beat at high speed for 2 minutes. Pour 2/3 of the batter in a greased and floured 10" tube pan. Combine filling ingredients and sprinkle over batter in pan. Spread remaining batter evenly over filling mixture. Bake at 375 degrees for 45-55 minutes until cake springs back when touched lightly. Cool right side up for about 25 minutes, then remove from pan.

Glaze: Blend 1 cup XXX sugar and 2 Tablespoons milk. Drizzle over cake.
