Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups butter
- 1 1/2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
- 3 cups flour
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 15 X 10 inch pan

Preparation
Step 1
Heat oven to 350 degrees.
Place butter, brown sugar and vanilla in a large bowl and mix with an electric mixer on medium spped for 3 minutes until completely combined.
Add flour and mix on low speed for 2 minutes, or until completely combined.
Stir in chocolate chips.
Place dough on ungreased 15 X 10 inch baking pan and press into an even layer, covering pan.
Bake bars at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes, or until they are light golden brown.
Let them cool for only 5 minutes and then cut into 24 squares. (If they cool too much, they will crack when cut.)
