- 3 pounds chicken wings, tips removed
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil divided
- 1 cup honey
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon black pepper

Step 1
1) Heat 1 1/2 tablespoons oil in skillet over medium heat until hot. Brown chicken wings on each side to prevent crowding. Turn each piece as it browns, about 1 to 2 minutes per side. Transfer with slotted spoon to slow cooker/crock pot.
2) Combine honey, soy sauce, remaining 1 1/2 tablespoons of oil and garlic in medium bowl. Whisk in tomato paste, water, sugar and pepper. Pour sauce over chicken. Cover and cook on low 6 to 8 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours.
