Ingredients
- 2 cups milk
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 2 cups flour
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 4 cups flour

Preparation
Step 1
Scald milk and allow to cool before adding sugar, yeast and 2 cups flour. Let stand 1 hour. In separate bowl beat eggs and add sugar and butter. Combine with milk and stir in about 4 more cups flour to make soft dough. Let rise. Roll out to 1/4 " thick, cut with doughnut cutter. Let rise 45 minutes and fry in shortening at 400 degrees. Sugar or glaze.
