Ingredients

  • 1 organic yellow onion, halved lengthwise & sliced
  • 3 c organic baby carrots
  • 1/2 c organic turkey/vegetable broth
  • 1/2 c dry white wine
  • 1 clove organic garlic. minced
  • 1 T chopped fresh sage
  • 1.5 - 1.75 lbs of bone-in skinned turkey legs
  • 1 t paprika
  • sea salt & freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 (10oz) pkg organic stuffing mix with cranberries

Preparation

Step 1

1. Place onion in a lightly oiled 6QT crock pot/slow cooker & top w/carrots.
2. Combine broth, wine, garlic & sage.
3. Pour over vegetables.
4. Generously season turkey legs w/paprika, salt & pepper.
5. Arrange on top of vegetables.
6. Cover & cook on LOW heat setting 8 hrs or until turkey & vegetables are tender.
7. Prepare stuffing according to package & serve.
