Ingredients
- Cream Cheese Frosting:
- 1 can (15 oz.) solid-pack pumpkin
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup oil
- 2 cups flour
- 2 t. baking soda
- 2 t. ground cinnamon
- 1 t. ground cloves
- 1/2 t. salt
- 1/2 t. ground ginger
- 1/4 t. ground nutmeg
- 2 pkgs. (3 oz. ea.) cream cheese, softened
- 2 cups powdered sugar.
- 1 t. vanilla extract

Step 1
In a large mixing bowl, beat pumpkin, sugar, eggs and oil until well blended. Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves, salt, ginger and nutmeg; gradually beat into pumpkin mixture until blended.
Pour into a greased and floured 10" fluted tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 55-65 minutes or until cake springs back when lightly touched. Cool for 10 minutes before removing from pan to a wire rack to cool completely
In a small mixing bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy. Add powdered sugar and vanilla; beat until smooth. Frost top and sides of cake.
