Banana Drop Cookies

Ingredients

• Icing:
• 1 c. butter flavored shortening
• 1 c. sugar
• 2 eggs slightly beaten
• 1 c. mashed bananas
• 1/2 c. buttermilk
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 3 c. flour
• 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• 1 c. chopped nuts if desired
• 3 oz. cream cheese
• 1/3 c. butter
• 1 Tbsp. milk
• 1 Tbsp. vanilla
• 2 c. powdered sugar

Preparation

Step 1

Mix shortening, sugar, eggs; mix well. Stir in bananas, buttermilk and vanilla. Stir in dry ingredients and nuts. Chill dough for 1 hour. Drop by teaspoon on lightly greased cookie sheet and bake approx 12-14 min in oven heated to 375.

Icing: Mix cream cheese, butter, milk, vanilla and powdered sugar. Beat well
