Ingredients
- 1 tea cup water
- 1 lb mixed fruit
- 1/2 lb butter
- 3/4 lv sugar
- 1 Tbsp marmalade
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 3/4 lb flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 3 eggs

Preparation
Step 1
Boil fruit with water for 5 min and drain off water
While still hot add butter and sugar
Stir until all is melted
Cool and add 1 Tbsp marmalade and vanilla
Beat well and add 3 eggs
Sift in flour and baking powder
Mix well
Put in a greased lined 8 inch square or round pan
Bake for 20 min at 325 then lower heat to 275 and bake until cake is done-check after 45 min
