Ingredients

  • 1 lb. margarine
  • 1 8 oz. package cream cheese
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 4 1/2 cups flour

Step 1

1. Cream margarine and cream cheese, add sugar gradually blend well, add egg yolks. Blend well. Add vanilla and flour gradually. Beat till well blended.

2. Chill dough at least 4 hrs. or overnite. Roll out on lightly floured board and cut into desired shapes. Do not roll dough too thin.

3. Place on greased cookie sheets. Bake 350 deg. 10-12 minutes or till done. Do not overbake, watch carefully as they tend to burn if overbaked.

4. Frost or decorate cookies as desired.
