Ingredients

  • 2 Cups Apples (peeled & chopped)
  • 3 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 2 cups Sugar (cut to 1 3/4 cups)
  • 1 Cup Cooking Oil
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1/4 cup Orange Juice
  • 2 tsp. Vanilla
  • 3 cups flour
  • 1 Tbsp. Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt

Preparation

Step 1

Mix apples with the 3 tbsp. sugar & cinnamon, set aside.
In large bowl combine sugar & cooking Oil. Add eggs, orange juice & vanilla. Sift together flour baking powder & salt. Add to creamed mixture. Beat until smooth. Pour 1/3 batter into greased & floured bundt pan, alternating with one half apple mixture. Repeat. End with layer of batter.
Bake at 325 deg. oven for 60 mins. or until cake tests done. Cool in pan 10-15 mins. Turn out on wire rack cool completely.
Put on serving plate and sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
