Preparation
Step 1
Dissolve yeast in warm water. Melt oleo and coll to just warm. Beat eggs, add sugar and salt, mix well then add warm butter then dissolved yeast. Beat in flour. Work as good as you can in the bowl. Don't add more flour as dough will be soft. Lightly grease top of dough with Mazola oil-cover with wax paper and refrigerate. To make into rolls-rollout a piece of the dough to 1/2-inch thick, cut rounds with cookie cutter, brushwith melted butter, mark center with a knife-fold over place on lightly greased pan and let rise until dough doubles in bulk. Should be around 1 to 1 1/2 hours. Bake in moderate oven (350 degrees) until nicely browned. (You can just pinch off some dough and make plain rolls.
For Cinnamon rolls--roll dough out in rectangle, spread with melted butter, sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon-roll up dough, slice in 3/4-inch thick slices. Lay on lightly greased cookie sheet, let rise and then bake in 350-degree oven until done. Then ice if you want.
