  • 5 lbs. hamburger
  • 2 1/2 tsp. coarse pepper
  • 2 1/2 tsp. mustard seed
  • 4 T. curing salt (pickling salt)
  • 1 tsp. Liquid Smoke
  • 1 tsp. garlic powder

Step 1

Mix together all ingredients and knead the mix. Then knead the mix for 5 minutes for the next 3 days. On the fourth day, roll the mixture into 1 or 2 rolls. Bake at 160 degrees for nine hours.
