Thom's Special Sauce

I found this recipe in Bon Apetit, June 2011. It's a fact that the only thing a grilled hamburger needs is American Cheese and Thom's Special Sauce. Period!

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup mayonnaise
• 2 tablespoons ketchup
• 1 tablespoon finely grated onion
• 1 tablespoon sweet relish
• 2 teaspoons adobo sauce from canned chipotle Chiles in adobo
• 1/8 teaspoon celery salt
• 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt

Preparation

Step 1

Combine ingredients in a medium bowl and serve with burgers.

Place in a resealable jar and keep in refrigerator until the next cookout.
