Ingredients
- 1/4 c. lemon juice
- 1/4 c. vegetable oil
- 3/4 c. plain yogurt
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tsp. tomato paste
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. dried oregano
- 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1/4 tsp. ground allspice
- 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp. ground cardamom
- 2 lbs. skinless, boneless chicken pieces (2" chunks)
- 2 onions, chunked
- 1 large green pepper
- 1 c. fresh parsley

Step 1
Whisk together the lemon juice, vegetable oil, plain yogurt, garlic, tomato paste, salt, oregano, pepper, allspice, cinnamon, and cardamom in large bowl. Add chicken and toss to coat. Transfer the chicken mixture into a large plastic bag. Refrigerate at least 4 hours.
Oil grate. Thread meat, peppers and onions onto skewers. Cook until golden and done (around 5 minutes per side). Sprinkle parsley over the skewers.
