Ingredients

  • 1 cup softened butter
  • 1/2 cup 10X sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 1/2 cup sifted flour
  • 3/4 cup pecans, finely chopped
  • 10 X sugar for coating baked cookies

Preparation

Step 1

Cream butter and 10X sugar. Add water and vanilla. Gradually add flour and pecans. Beat until well mixed. Chill 30 minutes.

Roll dough into 1" balls. Place 1" apart on ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes ot until bottom is light brown. Do not overbake. Cool 10 minutes. Roll in 10X sugar. Roll again when completely cool.
