  • Streusel topping:
  • 2 large grapefruit
  • 1/3 cup unsifted flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 4 Tablespoons butter, cut into 4 pieces

Step 1

Preheat oven to very hot--450 degrees.

Combine flour, sugar and butter in small bowl. Mix with pastry blender until mixture resembles coarse meal.

Cut grapefruit in half. Loosen sections with a grapefruit knife. Scallop rind edges, if you wish.

Place grapefruit halves on baking sheet, cut-side up. Sprinkle with streusel topping. Bake in preheated oven for 5-8 minutes until lightly browned. Cool slightly before serving. Garnish with mint leaves, if you wish.
