Fried Goat Cheese Balls with Honey
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1/4 cup corn starch
- 1 cup club soda
Take the goat cheese out of the package and roll into balls, then roll lightly in flour. Refrigerate them for 10 minutes.
While they are chillin, mix together 3/4 c flour, 1/4 c corn starch, then add 1c club soda, a bit of honey and salt. Whisk together.
After 10 minutes is up, you will need to dip them in batter an fry them. I had my cast iron skillet with 2 ish inches of canola oil on medium high heat. Drop a bit of batter to test for oil heat. Fry till golden brown, top with honey and freshly ground black pepper.
