Ingredients

  • 1 C flour
  • 1/3 C unsweetened cocoa
  • 3/4 T baking soda
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 1/3 C shortening
  • 1 C packed brown sugar
  • 1 t vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 C milk
  • 1 3 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 C chunky peanut butter
  • 1 T honey
  • 1 T milk

Step 1

1. In med. bowl, stir flour, cocoa, soda and salt. In large bowl, beat shortening about 30 seconds. Add brown sugar and vanilla, beat well. Add eggs, one at a time, beat well after each. Add dry ingredients. alternately with milk.

2. In med. bowl, combine cream cheese, peanut butter, honey and 1 T milk, beat well. Put 2 T of batter in cupcake cups. Spoon about 1 t cream cheese mixture in center of each. Fill cups with batter, about 1 T.

3. Bake 375 deg. for 20 minutes.
