Ingredients
- 3 EGGS
- 2 C SUGAR
- 1 C VEGETABLE OIL
- 2 C FLOUR
- 2 tsp CINNAMON
- 1 tsp BAKING SODA
- 1/2 tsp SALT
- 1 tsp VANILLA
- 1 C CHOPPED WALNUTS
- 4 C APPLES, PEELED, THINLY SLICED (about 5 medium apples)
- 2 3oz CREAM CHEESE
- 1/4 C MELTED BUTTER
- 2 C POWDERED SUGAR
- 1 tsp LEMON JUICE

Preparation
Step 1
CAKE:
Preheat oven to 350.
Beat eggs with mixer until thick and light.
Add sugar and oil with mixer on medium speed.
Add flour, cinnamon, baking soda and salt to egg mixture,
Add vanilla and beat to mix.
Add in walnuts.
Pour apples into a buttered 13 X 9 X 2 pan.
Pour batter over apples, spreading to cover apples.
Bake in oven for 1 hour.
Remove and cool.
ICING:
Soften 2 3 oz packs of cream cheese. Beat until fluffy. Beat in 1/4 C melted butter, Then beat in 2 C powdered sugar, 1 tsp lemon juice.
