Ingredients
- 1 tsp. Olive oil
- 2 oz. Turkey Kielbasa halved lengthwise
- 1/2 cup Onion minced
- 1/2 cup Green bell pepper diced
- 1/2 cup Uncooked rice
- 1/8 teaspoon Salt, Dried Thyme, Black pepper & Red pepper
- 1 cup Water
- 1 10.5 oz can Low salt Chicken broth
- 1 14.5 oz can Diced tomatoes - undrained 1/2 lb Medium shrimp peeled
- 1/8 tsp. Hot sauce
- 1 Tbsp. Parsley

Preparation
Step 1
Heat oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add Kielbasa (halved lengthwise and sliced), onion and bell pepper. Saute 5 minutes til vegetables are tender. Add rice. Saute 2 mins. Add salt, thyme, black pepper, and red pepper and saute another 1 min. (you need to reduce the red pepper by 1/2)
Add water, broth, and tomatoes. Bring to a boil. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer 15 mins til rice is tender.
Stir in shrimp and hot sauce. Cover and cook 5 mins til shrimp are done. Remove from heat and stir in parsley.
