- 3 cups flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 13/4 cups white sugar
- 1/2 cup soft margarine or butter
- 1/2 cup soft shortening
- 3/4 cup milk
- 4 eggs
- Lemon rind

Step 1
Grease tube pan.
Put all ingredients in bowl except for 2 eggs and lemon rind.
Beat 2 min on medium speed. Add lemon rind and remaining 2 eggs. Beat another 2 mins.
Bake 1 hour at 350 or until tested done.
