Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup cider vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons mustard
  • 3 minced cloves garlic
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 6 tablespoons olive oil

Preparation

Step 1

In a large bowl, mix the cider vinegar, mustard, garlic, lime juice, lemon juice, brown sugar, salt, and pepper. Whisk in the olive oil. '

Just to prepare you the smell of the vinegar will really put you off, it completely fills my kitchen and disgusts me. You can’t taste it in the end product though.

Cut the chicken into strips or chucks and place in the mixture. Cover, and marinate 8 hours, or overnight.

I cook my chicken stovetop on high heat but I bet it’s delicious grilled!
