Ingredients
- 6 T butter
- 1/2 C sugar
- 3/4 t vanilla
- 1/8 t salt
- 1/4 C + 2 T unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3/4 C flour

Preparation
Step 1
1. Beat butter, sugar, vanilla and salf until smooth. Blend in cocoa just til dark, smooth paste. Mix in flour til crumbly.
2. Firmly pat ¾ of pastry into bottom of pan. Crumble remaining pastry into a shallow baking pan. Bake both 10 minutes, remove pan of extra crumbs. Bake crust 5 mins. more. Place both pans on rack to cool. Pulverize crumbs and store in airtight container til needed.
