Ingredients
- 4 pkgs. German Chocolate
- 4 T. powdered sugar
- dash of salt
- 4 T. hot water
- 1 T. gelatin
- 2 T. cold water
- 8 egg yolks
- 2 tsp. vanilla
- 8 egg whites
- 1 c. whipped cream

Preparation
Step 1
Melt chocolate in double boiler. Stir in powdered sugar, salt, then add hot water. Beat vigorously. Add gelatin dissolved for 5 minutes in cold water. Add egg yolks, 1 at a time, beating after each; vanilla. Cook a little longer. Remove from fire and cool. Fod in beaten egg whites and whipped cream. Alternate layers with angel food cake. Refrigerate. (Butter pan)
